Description

Prepare different cards for the activity and write on them different talents and personal skills that someone could have.
For example: creativity, critical thinking, innovative, practical, influential, realistic, patience, honesty, dynamic, reliable, responsible, empathy, collaborative, sociable, sense of humor, energy, ambition, positive, optimism, independent, passion, etc and the list goes on.
Ask the participants in the group to sit in the circle. Give them 4 cards or more, if the group is less than 7 participants and tell them to pick up one card that is less compatible with their skills or it’s not their talent and give that card to the person next to them.
For a few minutes, they have to exchange cards rotating in the group the cards and each participant has to keep the cards that suits them. They may keep less cards at the end or one card only that is expressing the participant or when a participant finds their cards, can say that their done and the rest of the team continues until they’re ready with their cards.
Then you break the group into smaller groups and have a discussion about their talents and how they feel about them. Ask them to answer questions like: What/who helped you develop your talents? Are your talents considered  important by the society? How can you use them to have a positive impact on our group, or on the society in general?
